Lucinda, known by most as Jennie, married Arthur Chinn in Independence Co, AR on December 25, 1875. The names of her parents are unknown.

Jennie's second marriage was to a widower, James Henry Ford, in Independence Co, AR on Sept. 18, 1915. Her name was shown as L.J. Chinn. she was 56, & Henry was 63. He had been married three times. He was the father of at least 16 children; eight children by his first wife, Mary A. Nelson; and eight by his second wife, Sarah Isabella Brown. He outlived his first two wives & was married to Sarah J. Ford, no relation. His fourth marriage was to Jennie. He died in Cave City, Independence Co, AR on March 1, 1930 & was buried beside his second wife, Sarah, in Macedonia Cemetery in Newark, Independence Co, AR.
Before the Civil War James & Mary lived in Birchwood where he made a living farming. On August 7, 1861, he enlisted in Company B, 1st TN Calvary at Cleveland. He was hospitalized in May 1862. James deserted & took the oath at Chattanooga on April 20, 1865. He was described as being light complexioned with brown hair, blue eyes, & was 5'9" tall. His brother, also served in the Civil War.
One of his granddaughter said this about him, "My grandfather earned his living by farming - he was very, very old - with a long white beard - I only saw him once."
On Jan. 26, 1920, James, age 76, & Lucinda, age 61, lived in Gainsboro, Independence Co, AR where they owned a farm.
James Henry died on March 1, 1930, and was buried beside his second wife, Sarah Isabella, in - buried in Macedonia Cemetery in Newark, Independence Co, AR.
On April 10, 1930, Jennie, age 72, a widow, lived with her son, Charles, age 36, a farmer, & children in Magness, Independence Co, AR. They lived on a rented farm. His children were:
