Hester was born on January 1, 1950 in Dayton to the late Ernest and Sarah (Steele) Rice. Hester is also preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Lenore Bunch, her brothers Ray Rice, Johnny Rice, Clifford Rice, as well as her sister, Betty Rice.
A funeral service for Hester will be held on Thursday at 6:00pm in the funeral home chapel. She will be laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens beside her parents.
