She was a daughter to Ferdinand and Rose (Clune) Schwieterman. On May 29, 1937, in Montezuma, she married Ralph Borgerding, who survived.
Also surviving were three sons, John, 13, Joe, 10, and Ralph, 6; three daughters, Barbara, 15, Bernice, 14, and Vivian, 9; two brothers, Lawrence, Sebastian, and Harold, Chickasaw; four sisters, Leona Wildenhaus and Rita Dell, both Dayton, Juliana Post, St. Anthony, Martha Huelsman, St. Henry, and Mary Jane Birt, Montezuma.
She was a member of St. Bernard's church and the Christian Mother's Society of the church and the Ladies Auxiliary of St. John in Dayton.
Funeral services were held in St. Bernard Catholic Church, with Rev. John Zeller officiating.
