Mrs. Womack was the youngest of nine children born to the late Herbert Lynwood Vallee of Rapides Parish and the late Phoebe Adelaide Travis of McComb, MS. She was a charter member of Parkview Baptist Church in Monroe.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, J. W. Womack; seven brothers and sisters.
She was survived by her son, Jerald H. Womack and wife Jeannie of Monroe; her daughter, Dianne Munholland and husband Marshall of Monroe; one sister, Helen Barefoot of Monroe; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
