Mrs. Mary May died at 6 o’clock yesterday evening at the residence of W. W. Lewis, in the country, aged 89 years. Mrs. May was the grandmother of the third wife of Judge W. T. Owen. Mrs. May lived at Judge Owen’s for many years. Last fall she went to live with her great grand daughter, who with Mrs. Sam Ewing and Mrs. A. W. Weir, also her great grand daughters, is her nearest relatives. The funeral will occur at St. Stephen’s church at 9 o’clock this morning. The internment will be at the old family burying ground on the Barney May place.
**In 1995 there were no stones located on the property that had been the Barney May place.
