Mrs. William “Bill” Whitworth nee Sue Houck of Sisterdale passed away on Monday October 10th at her home at the age of 74 years.

Sue was born February 1, 1942 in Ft. Worth, TX to Hubert and Cordelia Cotney Houck.
Sue married William “Bill” Whitworth on December 11, 1975 in Comfort, TX.

Sue is survived by her husband: Bill Whitworth of Sisterdale
Daughters: Whitney Anne Whitworth of Llano
Wynne Rae Whitworth of Cuero
Sister and spouse: Barbara and Ross Holster of Kerrville
Brother-in-law: Raymond Pilsner of Victoria

Along with her parents, Sue was preceded in death by a sister Pat Pilsner.

Her body will lie in state in the Comfort Baptist Church on Thursday October 13th from 9 to 10, with Funeral services at 10:00 a.m. in Church with Rev. Jim Holt officiating.

Graveside services and interment will follow in the Sisterdale Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Sisterdale VFD, or to the charity of one’s choice.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 12th from 4:30 to 7 in Fredericksburg, in the Chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home.
