Cason Mays, 79, of Tioga died at 11:15 p.m. Monday in his residence.
Mays was a retired traveling salesman, veteran of World War II, a member of Western Star Lodge No. 24 of F&AM Monroe and a native [of] Gibsland.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Hixson Bros., Pineville, with the Rev. J. M. Danford officiating.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Cemetery, Monroe.
