Dolores was born June 30, 1930 in Dekalb, IL, the daughter of Carl and Anna (Hansen) Sederberg. She attended grade school and junior high schools in Dekalb, Joliet and rural Sycamore, IL and graduated from Sycamore High School in 1948. She worked as a bookkeeper for an auto garage in Sycamore prior to marriage.
On February 17, 1951, Dolores married Maynard Clair Parker at First Lutheran Church in Dekalb. The couple operated dairy farms in Hampshire, IL and Whitewater, WI before moving to Granton, WI in 1965, where they farmed until 1995. Following the sale of the farm, they resided nearby until moving to Neillsville in 2014.
She was a member of Zion American Lutheran Church. Over the years, she enjoyed her garden flowers, making tied quilts, doing word search puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a very generous and giving person to her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, four children, six grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She is also survived by a sister, a sister-in-law, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one nephew.
Visitation was at Gesche Funeral Home from 1-3 pm on Saturday, October 15, followed by a private service and interment at Windfall Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, it was requested that donations be made to Wisconsin Public Television.
