Jack Mullins, 80, a res­i­dent of Dothan passed away on Tues­day, Oc­to­ber 4, 2016 at his res­i­dence.

Memo­r­ial ser­vices will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sat­ur­day, Oc­to­ber 8, 2016 at the Sun­set Fu­neral Home Chapel with Brother Mike Grimes of­fi­ci­at­ing. Bur­ial with Mil­i­tary Hon­ors will fol­low in Sun­set Memo­r­ial Park with Robert Byrd di­rect­ing. The fam­ily will re­ceive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. prior to the ser­vice. Flow­ers are be­ing ac­cepted or memo­r­ial do­na­tions may be made to the Grand­view Bap­tist Church Build­ing Fund, 2400 For­rester Rd., Dothan, AL 36301.

Mr. Mullins was born De­cem­ber 18, 1935 in Cren­shaw County, AL and lived the early part of his life in Prichard, AL. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years and then was em­ployed as a truck dri­ver with Davis Oil Co. un­til his re­tire­ment in 2002. He later worked with Lab­Corp un­til 2010. He loved to play the steel gui­tar with the Giles Fam­ily Gospel Group. He was a mem­ber of Grand­view Bap­tist Church.

Sur­vivors in­clude his wife, Pa­tri­cia Mullins; his daugh­ter, Robin Mullins; his step-sons, Jim (Jean) Willis, Cary (Deb­bie) Willis, and Robert (Cathy) Willis; 8 grand­chil­dren and 1 great-grand­child; his brother, Ger­ald L. Mullins; sev­eral nieces and nephews.
