M. Jeanette Kern, 85, of Monroeville passed away on September 22, 2016.

Born in Springfield, PA., Mrs. Kern was the daughter of S. Franklin & Catharine (McShea) Pancoast. She graduated from Springfield High School and went on to receive her Bachelor's Degree from Drexel University. What was most important to her in addition to her faith was her family. The farm was the hub of all family activities and she cherished each and every moment. Very active throughout her life, she enjoyed swimming, going to the beach and skiing all three of which became family time as well.

She is survived by her children, Cathy Kern Harris (John), Karen Kern Cummins (Harley), Jeannie Kern Love (Tim), Michael Kern (Lori), Frank P. Kern, (Nancy) and Eric Kern (Tara); daughter-in-law, Pam Kern; brother, S. Franklin Pancoast, Jr., and a sister-in-law, Leona Pancoast; eighteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, her husband Walter J. Kern, Jr., daughter, Michelle, son, Walter Kern III, grandson, Timothy and two sisters, Louise Panczner and Helen Little predeceased her.

A viewing will be held on Monday night, September 26, 2016 at the Adams Funeral Home, 64 Broad St., Woodstown, NJ 08098 from 6 until 8:30 PM and again Tuesday morning, September 27th, at the funeral home, from 9 until 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11:00 AM at the Parish of The Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit, St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 51 Broad St., Woodstown, NJ 08098 following Tuesday's morning visitation. Interment will take place in the church cemetery following the Mass.
