Mr. Bonner proudly served our country as a Corpsman in the U.S. Navy during World War II. A Builder and Developer in the Atlanta area, he owned and operated Bonner Homes, Inc. for many years. In his younger days, he liked to hunt and fish. He continually influenced his family to exercise and stay fit. He loved to excercise. He started running in his 40's and converted to walking at age 72, and continued walking regularly until age 87. He was a long-time member of Christ's Sanctified Holy Church and a founding member of the CSHC in Decatur, where he was a Sunday School Teacher. Mr. Bonner started and directed the choir there in the early 1960's. He loved music, listening to it and playing it, on piano and guitar. He also sang in a quartet for years. Mr. Bonner also enjoyed reading, and was an avid reader throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his wife, Corrinne Britt Bonner; his brothers, Dan Bonner, Tom Bonner, and Otho Bonner; and his sister, Flora Bonner Smith.
