BONNER, Otho Otho William Bonner, 88, of Decatur, went home to heaven on Thursday, September 10, 2009.

The family will receive visitors from 10-11 am on Sunday, September 13, 2009, at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry, Georgia, with funeral services immediately following at 11 am. A private burial will be at the Christ's Sanctified Holy Church Cemetery in Perry. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice Atlanta, 1244 Park Vista Drive, Atlanta, GA 30319.

Mr. Bonner was a carpenter by trade and proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He was also an artist, an avid reader, singer, and musician.

Mr. Bonner is survived by a son, William A. Bonner of Forest Park; daughter, Sandy Forbes of Nashville, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Phil Griffin of Loganville; grandchildren, Andy Forbes, Mandy Rodgers, Priscilla Forbes, and Michelle Rodgers; and siblings, Charles Bonner, Flora Smith, Mary Merritt, and Oscar Bonner.
