Mrs. Arnold B. (Eunica M. "Waggie") Pritzl, 71, of 311 W. Kalsched St. died of heart failure at 2:45 a.m. Sunday at Doctor's Hospital in Bowie, Md. She had been visiting her sons, Robert and Paul, on the east coast.
A concelebrated Mass of the Resurrection will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Catholic Church. The Rev. Donald F. Wilger will be principal celebrant, along with the Rev. John J. Pritzl, Durand, a brother-in-law of Mrs. Pritzl, and the Rev. Hubert Kleiber, Green Bay.
Mrs. Frank Wesley is to provide music. Gate of Heaven Cemetery will be the burial site. Dale, John, Lee and Jeff Pritzl, grandsons of Mrs. Pritzl, will be pallbearers along with Van Kronberger and Paul Umhoefer.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday and until service time Wednesday at Rembs/Kundinger Chapel. St. John's Rosary Altar Society and the Missionary Society will say a combined rosary at 3 p.m. Tuesday. A Knights of Columbus rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday followed by a parish vigil at 8.
The former Eunica M. Wegner was born Nov. 28, 1909 in Rib Lake and attended grade and high schools there. In 1931, she graduated from St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing here. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. August (Maude Holden) Wegner.
On Feb. 1, 1932 in St. John's Catholic Church, she and Arnold B. Pritzl were married. He owned and operated Pritzl Our Own Hardware Store here until retiring in 1967. He died April 9, 1976.
She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Missionary Society and St. John's Rosary Altar Society.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Paul (Mary) Jesberger of Sauk City; five sons, Donald Pritzl, M.D., Huntington Beach, Calif., Gerald and John Pritzl, both of Marshfield, Robert Pritzl, Bowie, Md., and Paul Pritzl, Coventry, R.I.; 17 grandchildren; and one sister, Melba Wegner of Ocala, Fla.
Memorials may be given to St. John's Catholic Church.
