Lena Bishop Orr, age 82, of Falmouth, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015, at Saint Elizabeth Hospital, in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. She was born in Falmouth on September 24, 1933, a daughter of the late Sidney “Bob” and Mattie Mains Bishop.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by: five siblings, William Bishop, Dexter Bishop, Christine Owens, Judith Owens and Brenda Tackett; and a great-grandchild, Raven Brock. She is survived by: two siblings, Jim Bishop and Nancy Seedle; four children, Portia (Hank Loeffler) Boehnke, Esther (Frank) Valdez, Linda (Robert) Ahring and Brian Wilson; eight grandchildren, Melissa (Jimmy) Jansen, Angela Brown, Marc Scott Brown, Theresa Parkin, Julie (Andrew) Wallace, Laurie (Terry) MacCauley, Jamie (Lloyd) Turner and BreAnne Wilson; 13 great-grandchildren, Danielle (Glenn) Brown-Welch, Nicki Brown-Melton, Autumn Brown, Christopher (Jocelyn) Barnett, Michael Brown, Jacob Turner, Anatasia Parkin, Chase Parkin-Hacker, Courtney Jackson, Mandey Jackson, Whitney Jackson, Ryan Turner and Nicholas Turner; and three great-great-grandchildren, Jaxon Paul, Landon Barnett and Raiden Barnett.

Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, at Peoples Funeral Home, in Falmouth. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 5, also at the funeral home. Lena’s final resting place will be at Mount Vernon Cemetery, in Falmouth. Memorials, if desired, are suggested to: Trinity Baptist Church 309 East Shelby Street, Falmouth, Kentucky 41040; or Bedford House Limited, 301 Licking Street, Falmouth, Kentucky 41040.
