David Franklin Boyette, 82, of Rockingham passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at First Health Hospice House.
Mr. Boyette was born December 1, 1933 in Richmond County a son of the late Raymond McPherson and Adjie Graham Boyette. Mr. Boyette was retired from J.P. Stevens, was a longtime member of Community Church and a Navy Veteran. He loved to fish, hunt, and play golf. He was a loving, husband, father, grandfather, and brother. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Boyette; sisters, Frances Bryant, Peggy Avin, Sherry Boyette and brothers, Raymond Boyette, Jr., Daniel Boyette.
Surviving are son, David Franklin Boyette, Jr. and wife Linda of Rockingham; grandchildren, Sherry Boyette of Rockingham, Gary Boyette of Fayetteville; sister, Ruby Speight of Rockingham, brother Darrell Boyette(Sue) of Anderson, SC, sister-in-law Jean Boyette of Rockingham.
A memorial service will be at 4:00 pm Friday, October 7, 2016 at Community Church with, Rev. Chris Young officiating.
The family will greet friends following the service at the church and other times at the home.
