Patricia Carol Herring Boyette, 83, of Rockingham, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Richmond Pines Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Hamlet.
Mrs. Boyette was born January 30, 1933 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Earl Hebra and Addie Bell Bellamy Herring. She was a longtime member of Community Church and a graduate of the Hamlet School Of Nursing, Class of 1959. She was the former Director of Dundee Nursing Center, had worked as a private duty nurse and for many years worked with Dr. Richard Baker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Wayne, Earl and Brad Herring.
Surviving are her husband, David Franklin Boyette of the home; son, David F. Boyette, Jr. and wife Linda of Rockingham; grandchildren, Sherry Boyette of Rockingham, Gary Boyette of Fayetteville; brother, Reginald Herring and wife Barbara of Roxboro and sister-in law, Lucy Herring of Concord.
A memorial service will be at 3pm Sunday, October 2nd at Community Church with Rev. Chris Young officiating.
The family will greet friends following the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Community Church Scholarship Fund, PO Box 2032, Rockingham, NC 28379.
