She was born March 9, 1952 in Whitehall, NY to Mr. David and Jean (Belden) Doty.
Monica was a member of the River Valley Grace Lutheran Church, she enjoyed spending time with her family, reading Steven King books; her passion in life were her grandchildren and her dogs.
Mrs. Freeman is preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, David Doty and Donald Doty.
Mrs. Freeman is survived by her husband, Greg Freeman; one daughter, Angela (Cliff) Smith of Castelton, VT.; two sons, Michael Mcphee of Granville, NY., and Dennis (Whitney) Freeman of Clarksville; nine grandchildren, David Bartholomew, Benjamin Bartholomew, Jacob McPhee, Liam McPhee, Charissa Cronk, Jay'Don Freeman, Bray'Len Freeman, Kae'Den Freeman, and A'krika ''Jewelle'' Freeman; one great-granddaughter, Temperance Joy Cronk; one sister, Joan Doty of Whitehall, NY.; and one brother, Raymond Doty of Mechanicsville, NY., along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Formal arrangements will be announced by Jillson Funeral Home of Whitehall, New York. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of Laborers Local 107 AR/OK.
