Graveside funeral service for Ruby Douglas will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 2016 in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Ruby Douglas, age 95, Lawton, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016 in Lawton. She was born September 7, 1921 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. She grew up in Cheyenne and graduated high school in Reydon. Ruby married Claude Ira Douglas on May 5, 1940 in Arnett, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on January 3, 2012.

Ruby was a homemaker but occasionally worked as a cook as well as a housekeeper. She loved to fish and camp and enjoyed sewing.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jeannie Douglas, Thousand Oaks, California; her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Tom Logan, Indiahoma, Oklahoma; three grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her four brothers and a sister.
