Robert Gene Raley, 54, of Hwy. 1108, Parksville, died Saturday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, of natural causes. Born Feb. 2, 1944, in Boyle County, he was a son of the late Thomas Raley and Lucille Baugh Raley Taylor. He was a self-employed painter and had served in the Army. Survivors include his wife, Lula Goode Raley; a son, Scott Raley of Parksville; two sisters, Delphia Tate of Perryville, and Joyce Phillips of Harrodsburg; and a grandson. Services will be 2 p.m. He was preceded in death by a brother Joseph Junior Raley, two sisters Alma Loraine Raley Tate and Margie Rae Ellen Raley Tolman Dean, Tuesday at Wilder Funeral Home by the Rev. Larry Moore and Gary Story. Burial will be in Elder Cemetery, Casey County. Pallbearers will be Donald, Bill and Tim Goode, Glen Wren, Rick Waldon, Tommy Smith and Cue Phillips Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Finley Hendrickson, Alex Raley, Perry, Cloyd, Ray and J.V. Goode and Leonard Chumbley.
