Mrs. Jennie Clark Dies in Atlanta
Daughter of late Mr. and Mrs. Lawson Eaves of this Section
Mrs. Jennie Clark of Atlanta, Ga., passed away in her 79th years on Saturday, April 17 (1937).
Mrs. Clark was a native of North Carolina, but for the past 28 years had made her home in Atlanta, Ga. She was formerly Miss Jennie Eaves, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lawson Eaves of Cleveland and Rutherford counties.
Mrs. Clark was a member of the Capitol View Baptist Church of Atlanta at the time of her death, and was formerly active in church work in Caroleen, North Carolina.
Surviving Mrs. Clark are three sons, L. C. Clark of Atlanta, Ga.; L. B. Clark of Weehawken, N. J., and J. P. Clark of Brooklyn, New York. One daughter, Mrs. J. P. Tidwell of Atlanta, Ga.; two brothers, R. W. Eaves of Forest City, N. C., and J. K. Eaves of Midland, N. C.; two sisters, Gussie Bryant of Midland, N. C. and Mrs. Corrie Biggerstaff of Bostic, N. C. There are also five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Capitol View Baptist Church. Dr. Lee Cutts officiating, and burial was in Hollywood Cemetery.
