In August 1941 we moved from Rogers to Searcy, Arkansas so Daddy could attend Harding College Preachers’ School. In 1948, we moved to Noel, Missouri. There was no church in Noel, so Daddy preached for the church in Southwest City, Missouri, just ten miles from Noel.
In 1945, we moved to Burden, Kansas where Daddy preached. In 1949, we moved to Clifton, Kansas. And finally we moved to good ol' Ransom, Kansas. It was a hot August day and the wind was blowing hard from the South. Our 1941 Ford did not have air conditioning, so all the windows were rolled down. Highway 4 was still a dirt road, so when we turned North into Ransom, a cloud of dust filled the car. I asked Daddy, "How long do we have to stay?" Little did I realize that the dust and all were to become my lifetime home. I did not realize what a blessing it was going to be.
Ron and I were married July 16, 1952. We were blessed with four super wonderful kids, Gary Dean, Debra LoAnn, Mark Daniel and Deva Sue.
Preceding Dorothy Ann in death: her parents, Raymond (known to everyone as Mac) and Vera McDaniel; her daughter, Debra LoAnn and her son-in-law, Don Smith; baby sister, Lois Jo McDaniel; sister, Bonnie Sue and her brother-in-law, Vernon Edwards.

As you are now--

So you will be.
Are you prepared for Eternity?
