Matsumoto, Aketo, 82, of Pearl City died Tuesday in Pali Momi Hospital. He was a retired restaurant owner. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. The family asks that casual attire be worn and flowers be omitted. Mr. Matsumoto was born in Waianae. He is survived by his wife, Hatsuko; three sons, Alvin A., Walter M. and James H.; four brothers, Masao, Glenn M., Rusty T. and Don K.; and six grandchildren. [Honolulu Star Bulletin, 18 August 1989]
