On the afternoon of Tuesday, September 27, 2016, Sheree Barton, 60, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in heaven.
A native of Warner Robins, Georgia, Sheree was born on March 6, 1956 to the late Drewie and Oppie Lee Jackson. She graduated from Northside High School in 1974 and went to work for Houston Medical Center for a while before taking a job with Dr. Gary Carter's office. There, Ms. Barton worked as a secretary and in insurance and billing for over 30 years. She most recently attended Green Acres Baptist Church. Sheree will be remembered as a devoted mother, sister, and aunt who treasured every moment with her son, siblings, and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Jason Kyle Enckler.
Visitation will be Friday, September 30th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 1st in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Following the service, Ms. Barton will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Sheree to the DAV - Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301 or Wounded Warrior Project Foundation, 4899 Belfort Rd., Ste 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
