Mr. William B. “Billy” Lay 67 of Jackson, MS, was called home to be with the Lord on September 28, 2016 in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be Friday Sep 30, 2016 from 5-7 P.M. at Natchez Trace Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison, MS.

Billy was born on January 13, 1949 to the late Robert & Mary Lay in Jackson, MS.

After graduating from Provine High School in 1967 he attended The University of Southern Miss where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in art. He owned MS Dental Restorations for over 20 years. Billy was a passive, charismatic man who had a green thumb for plants and a heart for woodworking. Most of all Billy was a good man with a heart of gold who loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Robert & Mary Lay, brother, Colonel Robert S. Lay Jr.

Billy is survived by 1 brother, Jimmy Lay and his wife Debbie of Flowood, MS, 5 sisters, Donnie Lay of Brandon, MS, Kanani Pardue of Wilsonville, AL., Patti Clark and her husband Jim of Madison, MS., Lisa King of Yazoo City, MS and Tina Clark of Madison, MS., 1 sister in law, Patti Lay of Melbourne, FL. As well as a host of loving nieces and nephews.
