Mrs. Juanita Peoples Pope, age 74, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, September 26, 2016.

Graveside services will be 3:30 Thursday, September 29, 2016, at Cothran Cemetery in the Rover Community.

The family will receive visitors 12-3 Pm Thursday at the funeral home.

She was born May 23, 1942, in Double Springs, Alabama, to the late John L. and Annella Henderson Peoples. She was retired from National Pen Corporation and of the Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Prentice Cooper Pope, a son, Michael L. Pope, a brother, Audell Peoples, and brother in law, Billy Travis.

Survivors include a grandson, Jay D. Pope; great grandchild, Hadley Dean Pope; three brothers, Bobby Peoples, John O’Neal Peoples and Tommy Peoples; three sisters, Carolyn Travis, Sandra (Kennith) Peoples, and Brenda (Randy) Lovvorn.

Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
