SHREVEPORT, LA – Services celebrating the life of Marvin Florence Terry, 92, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 30, 2016 at New Life Tabernacle with Rev. Steve Munds officiating with Rev. Eugene McBride assisting. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 5-7:00 p.m. at Rose- Neath Southside funeral home.
Marvin was born on May 17, 1924 and went home to be with the Lord on September 26, 2016.
Marvin “Gramps” was full of life. To know him was to love him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Sally Hutto Terry; wives, Betty Walker Terry and Dovie Hudson Terry; siblings, Maureen Williams, Christine Farmer, Violet Mae Moser, James Terry, O’Neil Terry, and Norris Terry.
Left to cherish his memory is sons, David Paul Terry and wife Mary, Mike Hudson, and Walter Mark Hudson; daughters, Rebecca Sue Munds and husband Steve, and Kamie Hudson; grandchildren, Michael Hudson, Kensi and Jeff Bieniek, Tori and Brian Kelly, Laci and Josh Bredahl, Ashton and Jordan Harrison, and Malisa Currie; great grandchildren, Walker, Malli, Reagan, K’laina, Ryli, Mesa, Bryce, and Graceson.
