Jacqueline Ann Kurschardt of Wauconda for 57 years The funeral service for Jacqueline Ann Kurschardt (nee Funk), 68, will begin with prayers at 10:30 a.m. Friday, at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home, 235 N. Main St., Wauconda, and proceed to Transfiguration Church, 348 W. Mill St., Wauconda, for Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Wauconda Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home. Born June 18, 1937, in Chicago, she passed away Sunday, Dec. 4, 2005, at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington. Jacqueline moved to Wauconda to live with her uncle and aunt, Frank and Rose Korper in 1948. She was the secretary/bookkeeper for Walmar Construction. Jacqueline enjoyed bowling, snowmobiling, boating and going to the casinos. She enjoyed time with her grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was an avid collector of different things and her favorite collection was of angels. She was the beloved wife of Walter; loving mother of Michael, William (Kimberly) and Karen; cherished grandmother of Brittany and Karli, and her special little friend, Madison; dear sister of Dianne (Joseph) Pokorny; and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
