Maurer H. Barnhart, 66, a retired restaurant operator, died Wednesday at Harrisburg Hospital. He resided at Hummelstown RD 2. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nellie Barnhart; three sons, Harold Jr., Jonestown; Henry M., Long Beach, Calif.; and William B., Hummelstown RD 2; three daughters, Mrs. Gordon Riffey, Mrs. Lawrence Gibson and Mrs. George Gibson, all of Hummelstown RD 1; 26 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, Roy, Palmyra; B. F. Barnhart, Pillow, and Bruce, Annville RD, and two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Witte, Allentown, and Mrs. Irvin Brightbill, Palmyra. Maurer H. Barnhart, of this city, has instituted in the local Common Pleas Court, through the medium of his attorney, Charles D. Weirick, Esq., a suit for divorce from his wife, Eva E. Rees Barnhart.
