SP4 US ARMY - VIETNAM
Guilford – Everett E. Gray, 73, passed away after a brief illness, June 27, 2016 at Maine Veterans' Home in Bangor. He was born June 19, 1943, the son of Ralph and June (Poole) Gray. Everett was born and raised in Atkinson.
He joined the U.S. Army at the age of 17. Always a hardworking man, Everett, through the years worked for the State of Maine DOT; Guilford Industries; was self-employed operating his own garages; and Rent-A-Hubby. He spent countless hours volunteering, working with kids on many different skills and trades. He logged 1087 hours last year. Everett was well-respected, and adored by the many people he called family, friends, and acquaintances. He was proudest being a mentor to all his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was also proud of being a U. S. Army veteran and of helping others.

Everett is survived by his children; grandchildren; and great grandchildren. Services with military honors will be held at a later date. (Brookings-Smith Funeral Home)
