RALLS (Special) - Services for Willis H. "Diz" Dismukes, 74, of Ralls will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Morrow, pastor, officiating.

The Rev. Lee Fuller of Fritch and the Rev. Dale Cain of Lubbock also will officiate.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

Dismukes died at 7:25 p.m. Tuesday in Lubbock General Hospital after a lengthy illness.

He was born in McDade and moved from Lamesa to Ralls in 1952. He received degrees from San Marcos Teachers College, Baylor University, the University of Texas School of Pharmacology. He operated Dismukes Pharmacy in Ralls until his retirement in 1973. He was a member and Deacon with First Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday School. He was a Navy veteran and was named Ralls Citizen Through the Years in 1976. He was a member and past president of the Rotary Club and PTA and a member of Ralls Senior Citizens, the Crosby County Child Welfare Board, the Ralls School Board and the Ralls Museum Board. He was a Mason. He married Irma Beaty on Sept. 8, 1938, in Lockhart.
