MULESHOE - Gladys Wilson, 91, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Muleshoe Church of Christ with Curtis Shelburne and Barry Wiseman officiating. Burial will be in Muleshoe Memorial Park Cemetery by Ellis Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wilson was born April 7, 1915, in Hale County to Louis and Sophia Pryor. She married Bay Wilson on Dec. 11, 1930, in Clovis, N.M. He preceded her in death on Dec. 23, 1965.

She moved to Bailey County in 1943 from Lipan. She was a member of Muleshoe Church of Christ, and was employed as a sales clerk for Anthony's Department Store for 26½ years.

She was the third child of her family and was the last survivor.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Neil Glen Wilson and Gordon Wilson; and three grandsons, Roby and Casey Wilson and Arthur Thomas.

Survivors include three sons, Stanley Wilson of Muleshoe, Roger Dale Wilson of Hettinger, N.D., and Mickey Wilson of Amarillo; five daughters, Marieta Thomas of Morton, Nelda Jo Teeter of Lubbock, Jan Furr of Amarillo and Dianne Brown and Cathy Wilson, both of Muleshoe; a daughter-in-law, Marilyn Nickels of Muleshoe; 24 grandchildren; and 44 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to the New Mexico Christian Children's Home, 1356 New Mexico 236, Portales, NM 88130-9411 or Parkview Nursing Home Van Fund, 1100 W. Ave. J, Muleshoe, TX 79347.
