Alta was born to Durwood Owen and Lessie Sarah (Skinner) Tanner. She was a graduate of Dawson High School, worked in sales at Goldstein-Migel in Waco, and was a Methodist.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenard Franklin Brink; daughter, Regina Kaye (Brink) Wolfe; brothers, Dexter Owen Tanner, Fred Neff Tanner and Rovene Tanner; and sisters, Vivian Tanner, Vada Grace (Tanner) Farmer, Florene Sue (Tanner) Whitfield and Robbie Nell (Tanner) Adams.
Survivors include sons, Ronald K. Brink and wife, Betty, of The Woodlands; granddaughters, Bonnie Jean Brink, of The Woodlands, Christie Ann Brink, of Austin and Misti Elizabeth (Wolfe) Borelli, of Yorba Linda, Calif.; grandson, Jason Preston Wolfe, of Yorba Linda, Calif.; great-grandchildren, Jennah Borelli, Giana Borelli, Anthony Borelli and Nicolas Borelli, all of Yorba Linda, Calif.; nieces, Nelda (Adams) Gentile, of Dallas, Judy (Tanner) Schultz, of Salado and Tami (Tanner) Lintner, of Coppell; and nephews, Coy Lynn Whitfield, of Iredell, Jerry Don Tanner and Wayne Earl Farmer.
