Sue Margaret Fox died peacefully at home on Monday, 12/11/06. She was surrounded by her family and friends. Born 8/30/31 to Ross and Margaret Roberts, Susie was the youngest of her three late siblings, Ruth, Patty and Jack. While attending Central Classen she was 'Aunt Susie,' caregiver and confidant to her nieces and nephews. After graduation she worked for Bell Telephone before marrying the late John Fox, Jr. and then gave birth to John III, Jim, Bill, Tom, Pat, Charlie, Mary Margaret and Mark. She often said, 'My children are my greatest challenge and accomplishment in my life.' With help from family and friends she did her best to raise her large family. She worked at OCU as a Dean's Assistant while earning her degree in Psychology and Religion. She spent 10 years in Fresno for CCFMG as an executive administration assistant. She 'retired' in 1996, moving back to OKC for what she recently described as being 'the happiest days of my life.' She took in exchange students, and then provided care for her brother Jack during his last days. For the last 3 years, she was the nanny for her precious grand nieces, Lauren and Amanda Lane. She leaves 18 grand and 4 great grandchildren. We will always remember her generosity of spirit, her sense of humor, her love of family, football, opera, cards, crosswords, cryptoquotes, good cooking, good books and life. We wish our mother and Aunt Susie's spirit well on her next great adventure. Service on Wed., 12/13/06 at 3pm at Resurrection Chapel. A celebration of Susie's life will follow at Surrey Hills Golf & Country Club at 4:30 p.m.
