Wesley H. Underwood Dies at Galen
Wesley H. Underwood, 71, died at Galen. He was born Nov. 26, 1899, at Woodstock, Minn., a son of John and Hattie Underwood. In 1905 he moved with his family to Crystal Springs, N. Dak., where they homesteaded for a number of years. In 1939 he moved to Fairfield where he lived until moving to Somers in 1949. He continued to live at Somers until entering the Galen hospital five years ago.
Aug. 17, 1945, he married Betty Jean Decker at Great Falls and was preceded in death by her May 14, 1964. He was also preceded in death by his parents and one brother, and is survived by one sister, Mrs. Blanche Leopold, Jamestown, N.Dak.
