Wanda Lee Britain, 76 died Dec. 10, 2006, at her home, Hutchinson, Reno Co., KS.

She was born Nov. 1, 1930, in Hutchinson, the daughter of George and Jaunita Reed Schrader. A lifetime resident of Hutchinson, she was a homemaker.

On Oct. 31, 1948, she married Norman "Tony" Britain in Hutchinson. He died May 12, 1994.

Survivors include: four sons, Larry, McPherson, KS, Mark, Hutchinson, KS, Anthony, Nickerson, KS, and David, South Hutchinson, KS; a brother Max Schrader, Hutchinson; a sister; Nancy Busen, Arkansas; five grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Marvin.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Hutchinson, KS with Chaplain Dan Weaver presiding. Visitations is from 1 to 9 p.m. today (Tuesday Dec. 12, 2006), with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow funeral service in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, KS.

Memorials may be sent to Home Healthcare Connection Hospice, Hutchinson, KS, in care of the funeral home.
