Fred Borth, 58, died in a Stockton hospital. A native of Russia, he came to Oklahoma with his family at the age of eight months. In 1909 he moved to Kansas, and in 1920, he came to Lodi. He attended St. Peter's Lutheran School and farmed the Lodi area on East Kettleman Lane. He was a member of St Peter's Lutheran Church.
Survived by two sons, James and David Borth; two daughters, Kathleen Borth and Mrs. Betty Ann Harrison; two brothers, Al Borth and Ephrim Borth; three sisters, Mrs. Pauling Goehring, Mrs. Marie Linde and Mrs. Lydia Weidner; and four grandchildren.
