Tuesday morning the relatives and friends of Mr. J. D. Ivey were made sad by the announcement of his death. Mr. Ivey had lived in Albany several years with his son, J. W. Ivey he had been in very poor health for a number of years and for some time had been a constant sufferer. Mr. Ivey was a member of the Baptist church of which he had been a communicant for many years.
The funeral was preached by Rev. J. A. Brendell, after which his body was interred at Albany Cemetery, The people of Albany extend sympathy to the bereaved family.
