L.A. Davis, 82, of Summit, MS, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2016 at his residence.
Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery in Natchez, Ms.,under the direction of Jones Family Funeral Services.
Mr. Davis was born March 1, 1934, Natchez, MS. He was the son of Luke Aaron Davis and Olivia Davis.
He was retired industrial electrician and worked for International Paper in Natchez for many years. He also served in the United States Air Force. He was a member of New Life Apostolic Church in Summit.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved 1st wife Margaret Marie Anders Davis; two brothers, John Davis and James Davis; two sisters, Marie Davis, and Betty Davis; one daughter Helen Marie Davis and one grandchild Tiffany Noel Davis of Tennessee.
He leaves behind his 2nd wife, Julie Wallace Davis of Summit; two sons, Rex Davis of Tennessee and Lloyd Davis and wife Kim of Natchez; three daughters Cathy Cloy of Natchez, Patricia Case and husband Kenny of Brookhaven and Natasha Walters and husband Rick of Tennessee. Brother in law Rev. Patrick Anders and wife Clara of Natchez; 22 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Harold Thomas, Daniel Case, Kenny Case, Allen Davis, Tristan Ratcliff and Gage Ratcliff.
