Second, a daughter, Elaine Perry, married Edward Claxton,of Nevils, Bulloch County, Georgia.

George Samuel Perry - SAVANNAH - George Samuel Perry, 77, passed away at Hospice Savannah on January 24, 2008. Mr. Perry was a Savannah native. Before his retirement he was employed by Union Camp as a Machinist. He was a Marine Corps Veteran and a Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Central Christian Church. Mr. Perry was predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Cleo Perry and his wife, Dell Perry. He is survived by his son, Stephen (Vanessa) Perry of Rincon; daughter, Elaine (Edward) Claxton of Nevils; seven sisters; five grandchildren, Brad (Barbie) Smith, Summer (Joe) Grizich, Neal (Chrissy) Perry, Alex Perry and Tyler Perry; and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, January 25, 2008, 6 - 8 p.m. at Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Saturday, January 26, 2008, 11:00 a.m. at Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hospice Savannah.
