Married May 3, 1947 in Richmond, Ind., she shared her life with her loving husband of 66 years. They met while living in Dayton, Ohio. She worked for many years at Leggett in Collinsville and Roanoke, while raising her five children. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Collinsville and Copper Hill Church of the Brethren.
Mrs. Dudley is survived by two sons, Allen Dudley of Bassett, Phillip Dudley of Roanoke; one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy D. Parker and Wesley Parker of Charlottesville; and son-in-law Robert Houpt of Roanoke; one sister-in-law Lillian Barbour of Martinsville; three grandchildren, Cori and David Triano, Charles and Kimberly Dudley, and David Branch; and three great grandchildren, Leo and Mia Triano and C.J. Dudley, Jr.
The funeral service for Mrs. Dudley will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at noon in the chapel of Roselawn Funeral Home with Pastor Troy Mays officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday in the chapel of Roselawn.
