William C. Sanford Dead.
Amsterdam, N.Y., March 17.—William Cochran Sanford died this morning at a retreat at Waverly, Mass. He was forty-three years of age and a son of Stephen Sanford. He was a member of the S.S. Sanford & Sons, owners of carpet works of this city. He had been in poor health for a long time. Besides his parents, he leaves one brother, ex-Congressman John Sanford.
