Boyd Nathaniel Twiggs "Love You Lots" Boyd Nathaniel Twiggs passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family September 1, 2010 after a valiant battle with prostate cancer. He was born June 4, 1931 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Nathaniel and Bessie Hale Twiggs. After graduating from Snake River High School, he enlisted in the US Army and proudly served his country in the Korean War, for three years, being honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant. Boyd married Rayola Christiansen on Nov. 11, 1954 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He worked the majority of his life in the lumber industry as a salesman. At the time of his death he was self employed as a lumber estimator. He proudly served in various church and civic callings throughout his life. Boyd is survived by his wife of 55 years Rayola; children: Jeffrey, Curtis (Stacey), Scott (Coral), Brad (Sandra), Denton, Pam, Natalie Butcher (Eric); 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother Robert (Joan). Preceded in death by his parents. He will be missed by all that met him. Funeral services will be held September 7, 2010 at the Midvale Utah North Stake Center, 97 West 7500 South, Midvale, Utah at 1:00 p.m. with a viewing one hour prior to the services. A viewing will be held Sept. 6, 2010 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Midvale from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Mental Retardation Association of Utah.
