SALISBURY, VT. - Brent Blair LaFave, 54, died on Friday, September 9th 2016 at his home in Salisbury, Vt.

Mr. LaFave was born in Middlebury Vt. on March 29th 1962, the son of Larry and Eleanor (Blair) LaFave.

He grew up in Vergennes and Leicester, Vt. where he received his early education and was graduated from Otter Valley Union High School, class of 1980.

He worked as a heavy equipment operator for L.F. Carter Inc. from 1989 until 2003.

He later worked in the family business, Vergennes Auto for several years.

He enjoyed fishing and had been a member of the Neshobe Sportsman Club.

He also belonged to St. Paul's Masonic Lodge #25 in Brandon, Vt.

He married his wife, Kimberley Gale LaFave of Salisbury, Vt. in Salisbury, Vermont on October 15th 1983.

He is survived by his wife, one daughter, one son, one brother, three grandsons, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents.

A private graveside committal service and burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery in Vergennes, Vt.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon, Vt.
