WATSONTOWN - Mattie G. Stewart, 95, of McEwensville, Watsontown RR2, died Monday, April 9, 2001, at Muncy Skilled Nursing Facility, Muncy.
Born APril 10, 2005, in Woodland, she was a daughter of Matthew and Gertrude (Kizer) Graham. She was married to Reed A. Stewart, who preceded her in death on May 23, 1980, following 57 years of marriage.
Formerly of Clearfield, she and her husband moved to the McEwensville area in 1973.
Mrs. Stewart was a member of the Watsontown Alliance Church for 26 years.
She is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Loye and Ray Dixon of Watsontown RR2 and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers, Charles, Walter, John, Leonard and Oscar Graham; and five sisters, Ida Stewart, Blanche Roberts, Grace Myers, Anna Conrad and Mabel Honeycut.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Brooks Funeral Home, Turbotville, with Rev. Ronald Mayers officiating.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. Thursday.
