MARTIN L GOSSARD died at his home, 358 S Cannon Ave, Thursday afternoon, aged 59 years.

He was born and reared in Williamsport, the son of David and Margaret Watkins Gossard.

Mr Gossard served as a first sergeant in Company B during the Spanish-American War.

Besides his wife, Mrs Elva Gossard, he is survived by the following stepchildren: Mrs Omar Forrest, Mrs Jesse Coffman, Mrs Hazel Stevens and Mrs Harry Davis; a stepson, Clarence Rudisill, all of this city; brothers and sisters, Clinton E Gossard, Washington state; George D Gossard, California; Jacob and Findlay Gossard, both of Hagerstown; Cleveland Gossard, Leitersburg; Mrs Bessie Randall and Mrs Irene Schildnecht, both of this city.

The body was removed to the home of his stepdaughter, Mrs Harry Davis, 8 S Mulberry St, where it may be views. Services at Coffman Funeral Home on Saturday at 1 pm with the Rev H A James, assisted by Rev Frank G Mentzer officiating. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
