Jared was born on January 12, 1999 in Broward County, FL. Just prior to his first birthday he was adopted by Richard and Donna Martin. The family lived in Heyburn, ID until Jared was 11 years old, and then moved to Sagle. Jared attended Sagle Elementary School, Lake Pend Oreille Middle School, Sandpoint Middle School and Sandpoint High School, where he was currently a freshman.
Jared’s passions were sports, health, and nutrition. He enjoyed football, wrestling, track, bodybuilding and lifting weights. Jared had many friends and a smile that lit up the room. Jared loved living in north Idaho, and loved the lake and scenery. A couple of highlights for Jared this past year were a mission trip to Seattle and his new job at Zip’s in Ponderay.
He is survived by his parents Richard and Donna Martin of Sagle; 21 siblings; Richard Martin II of Little Rock AR, Jessica Sison (Chris Sison) of Dublin CA, Melissa Giraldo (Orlando Giraldo) of Burley ID, David Martin of St Louis MO, Javier Martin San Antonio TX, Noelani Martin of San Antonio TX, Nicole Martin of Pocatello ID, Emily Martin, Sean Martin, Orlando Martin, Caleb Martin, Raena Martin, Audrey Martin, Jaelyn Martin, Zack Martin, Cameron Martin, Devyn Martin, all of Sagle ID, Darrell Martin, Donald Martin, Mary Martin, Tony Martin, grandparents Don and Phyllis Bottorff of Paul, ID, Alan Lee Butler of Westwood, CA, and Virginia Martin of Susanville, CA; he was also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Hoyett Martin.
