LEWIS WOLL DIES IN LOWER VALLEY

Lewis Woll, age 88, died Saturday morning at his home in the Lower Flathead Valley.

Mr. Woll was born November 21, 873, at Summit Station, Pennsylvania. He spent his early life in Pennsylvania and married Ella Nora Shappell at Pottsville, Pennsylvania in 1884.

He came to Kalispell in 1900 and was employed as a contracting carpenter. His last contracting job was building the St. Matthew's Church after which he retired from carpentry and became engaged in farming.

He was a member of St. Matthew's Church.

He is survived by two sons, Lewis Woll Jr. of San Francisco and peter Woll of Kalispell, and three daughters, Mrs. Ann McIntosh of Fairbanks, Alaska, Mrs. Ed (Bertha) Winchell of Lawndale, California, and Mrs. Louis (Charlotte) Chabot of Kalispell; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; two brothers Joseph and Phillip Woll; and one sister, Mrs. Clara Crofton, all in the East.

Rosary for Mr. Woll will be recited in the Johnson Chapel at 8pm today. Requiem High Mass will be celebrated in St. Matthew's Church at 10am Tuesday with the Rev. Father D.A. O'Korn as celebrant. Interment will be in the Conrad Memorial Cemetery.
