Mr.
Timothy Allen, 58, of 1239 Burkston Court died Monday, April 15, 2013, at Hospice Home at High Point following an extended illness.
Tim was born on December 7, 1954, to the late Willie Allen and Annie Ruth Brown Gaffney.
Timothy attended Central High School and A & T State University.
He was a United States Army veteran and most recently employed as an electrician at W.B. Moore Electric Company. He was a member of Another Chance Gospel Ministry.
Timothy was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Sylvester Allen.
Surviving relatives include one son, David Gibson of Jessup, MD; two daughters, Maria Alleyne and Ti f fany Alleyne of Greensboro, NC; brother, Thomas (Janice) Allen of High Point; sisters, Glenda Fleming, Sandra (Bishop Fletcher) Little, Ruth (Allen) Dow, Linda (Min.
Robert) Harrison, all of High Point, and Sherril Covington of Greensboro; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Friday, April 19, 2013, at the chapel of Johnson and Sons Funeral Home, 206 Fourth St.
Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park. Family visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, 1:30 to 2 p.m. and other times at the residence.
