Henry County Local---July 20, 1951
Thomas Ivers, 85, retired farmer, died Tuesday at his home in Bethlehem. He is survived by his wife: Mrs. Nannie Ivers; two daughters: Mrs. George Adams, Bethlehem and Mrs. Berry Welch of near Bethlehem; three sons: Clifford Ivers, Mt. Washington, Indiana, John C. Ivers, Pleasureville and William Ivers, Cemetery Hill; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at the Union Baptist Church at 3 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. Bruce Stivers officiated. Interment was in the Pleasureville Cemetery.
