Last week the grim reaper of death again visited our little community taking from it Mrs. Loyd (Amelia) Banta, who was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Ivers. Mrs. Banta was sick just a short time and all that loving hands could do was done, but God was ready for her and although we cannot look through the mist of tears and see it God doeth all things for the best.
Mrs. Banta was just in the prime of life and is survived by her husband, her mother and father, three sisters and three brothers, and three small children who will need her care. They are at present with their grandmother and grandfather Ivers.
Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at the Baptist Church by Rev. James E. Wright. Burial was in the Pleasureville Cemetery.
